After 20 years as a litigator and advocate, Julien (“JT”) Swanson brings to Austin Swanson Law Firm extensive experience in complex, multi-faceted litigation, specializing in cases involving civil rights and discrimination. It is widely recognized that no matter where he shows up, JT is fully equipped to do battle or find creative ways to resolve disputes. Eric is a recent graduate and attorney from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he also held the position of Editor-in-Chief for GGU's Race, Gender, Sexuality & Social Justice Law Journal. His life in rural Mississippi as an LGBTQ+ individual influenced not only his personal journey but also the trajectory of his career, advocating relentlessly on behalf of his community. Prior to law school, Eric received his Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Eric's commitment to advocacy was evident in his prior internships at the AIDS Legal Referral Panel and the East Bay Community Law Center's Clean Slate Program, which ultimately paved the way for his role as an associate attorney at the Austin Swanson Law Firm.
